Zach Casebolt is an award winning American violinist. As a sought after studio musician, the recordings he has worked on for both major label and independent artists have sold over 11 million units and have won seven Grammy awards. Zach was a member of the legendary Ray Price's Cherokee Cowboys until Mr Price’s death in 2013. He also serves as concertmaster of Grammy winner Roy “Futureman” Wooten’s “Black Mozart Ensemble”.
Zach counts as his teachers some of the most renowned violinists in the world including Tracy Silverman, Isaac Stern, and Ani Kavafian who calls Zach “no ordinary talent ... truly one of a kind.”
In addition to his work with Ray Price and Futureman, Zach has enjoyed performing and recording with a wide variety of artists including Barbra Striesand, Alison Krauss, Lauren Daigle, Brandi Carlile, Leon Bridges, Little Big Town, Kathy Lee Gifford and Nicole C Mullin, Carrie Underwood, Ashley Monroe, Jars of Clay, Yelawolf, Garth Brooks, Third Day, Mandisa, Kelly Clarkson, Reba McEntire, and Sam & Ruby. His string work has been featured in major motion pictures such as "Life on the Line" starring John Travolta, “Hope Springs” starring Meryl Streep, and “The Secret Life of Bees” starring Dakota Fanning. Zach’s violin has also been featured on a variety of primetime network television shows such as “The Voice,” "Nashville," and “Grey's Anatomy.”
Complementing a busy studio schedule, Zach maintains an active and eclectic touring and performing calendar. He is a member of the American Federation of Musicians and a voting member of the Recording Academy.
One day in 2015, in a gust of divine intersession, the plans to a prototype of an audio file that synthesizes artists' rights and payments into the genetics of streaming music and video came to him in the shower. Ever since that day he has been the founder of Harvest - a company in Nashville that does just that.
In his off time Zach is an active runner. He makes his home in Nashville, TN.
